Xiang Zhen (Zheng Shuang), Qian Bei Bei (Gai Yue Xi), Ding Lan (Xu Yue), Jin Xiao Ni (Chen Xiao Yun) and Yu Hui (Wang Xiu Zhu) are five young women with completely different personalities who got to know each other in university and became best friends. After graduation, they all stay in Beijing and struggle to find their place in society. They often hit a wall, fail the graduate studies entrance exam, get caught in a pyramid scheme, lose their job, lose their love, fail in doing business or are forced to return home by their parents. Nevertheless, the young women stay friends through thick and thin and fight together for their future.
