Mu Xing Chen (Li Hong Yi) is a youth from the Shenmu clan who is known for their medical expertise. Ye Yun Chang (Zhao Lu Si), a young girl from a family of doctors, accidentally enters the clan’s territory but is saved by Xing Chen. In order to avoid getting involved in the fights for the throne, Xing Chen decides to follow Yun Chang to the human realm. A rare epidemic has broken out in Republican China, and Xing Chen and Yun Chang combine traditional and Western medicine to save the people.
