Huang Cheng Dong (Sun Hong Lei) accompanies his son Xiao Dong (Joseph Zeng) to America where Xiao Dong will study. Even though Cheng Dong had planned to return to China after his son settles down, he ends up staying in America as well and tries to help Xiao Dong adapt to the new environment. But chaos begins when Xiao Dong falls in love with his classmate Wu Dan Dan (Jiang Yi Yi), another Chinese foreign student. Through Dan Dan, Cheng Dong gets to know her father’s girlfriend, Lin Sa (Xin Zhi Lei), and when school bullying becomes an issue, Chen Dong and Lin Sa work together to solve the problem.
