Based on real cases, the drama tells how a multinational drug cartel teams up with local criminals in Dongshan in order to build a large scale underground methamphetamine factory under the protection of corrupt local government officials. A team of unfearful officers from the Police Narcotics Bureau, Team Leader Li Wei Min (Wu Gang), his son Li Fei (Johnny Huang) and others, set out to cripple the drug cartel in the special operation “The Thunder”.
