The CCTV New Year’s Gala, also known as Spring Festival Gala or Chunwan (春晚), is not only the biggest TV event of the Chinese New Year, but even has an entry in the Guinness World Records as the most watched TV program worldwide! Around 700 million to one billion viewers tune in every year on Chinese New Year’s Eve to watch the 4-hour-long show that offers a broad variety of acts, including sketches, music and dance performances, acrobatics and martial arts.
Three Lives, Three Worlds, The Pillow Book, another novel by Tang Qi Gong Zi, is set in the same universe as “Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms”. The drama depicts the love story of Bai Feng Jiu (Dilraba Dilmurat) and Dong Hua Dijun (Vengo Gao), that spans 2000 years. Feng Jiu soon realizes that gratitude has turned into love, however, Dong Hua already forgot what love is. In order to keep her save, Dong Hua sends Feng Jiu to the mortal realm, but the guardian he sends together with her unexpectedly dies. While trying to find the immortal fruit that can let her be reborn, Feng Jiu enters the temple of the ghost princess.

The drama focuses on how the two characters help each other fix their own personal problems within their dreams and real lifes.

hGong Sun Li (Dilraba Dilmurat) is the grand-daughter and disciple of military commander Gong Sun Yu. Jing Ke (first disciple, played by Liu Chang) and Sun Li are childhood lovers and were forced to escape when Qin troops attacked. However, Sun Li’s wall-shattering beauty seizes the interest of the Qin Emperor, Ying Zheng (Zhang Bin Bin), and she’s captured and sent to his palace. It’s then that she discovers she’s pregnant with Jing Ke’s child (Tian Ming). Ying Zheng treats him as if he’s his own child. The tragic day arrives when Jing Ke tries to assassinate Ying Zheng and dies trying.
