Mask is based on the 2005 Korean drama “Resurrection”. Set in the 1930s in Shanghai, the drama tells the story of special police officer Xu Ji Fa (Ethan Li) who was separated from his younger twin brother as a child. While uncovering a bizarre case, Ji Fa meets his brother again, and the two learn that their family is entangled in a big conspiracy.
