Mu Xing Chen (Li Hong Yi) is a youth from the Shenmu clan who is known for their medical expertise. Ye Yun Chang (Zhao Lu Si), a young girl from a family of doctors, accidentally enters the clan’s territory but is saved by Xing Chen. In order to avoid getting involved in the fights for the throne, Xing Chen decides to follow Yun Chang to the human realm. The three join hands in order to uncover the big conspiracy behind those murder cases.
Originally a BL story, this drama adaptation focuses on the bromance between former special forces soldier Guo Yang (Yang Shi Ze) and narcotics officer Zhang Chen (Cai Zhi Chen) instead. In order to bring down a drug trafficking organization, Zhang Chen approaches Guo Yang and asks him to become his partner.
