Hunan TV has just announced which upcoming dramas they bought! Lots of highly anticipated dramas like Cry Me A Sad River, Queen Dugu or Zhao Li Ying’s new dramas are among them. See the full list below.
Most of these dramas are expected to air in 2018, but some might have hope to air in the last quarter of 2017 already (Hunan TV didn’t state which ones though).
Expected to air in the Golden Eagle time-slot (prime-time, daily release):
Cry Me A Sad River – 悲伤逆流成河
Queen Dugu – 独孤皇后
Sweet Combat – 甜蜜暴击
The Brightest Star in the Sky – 夜空中最闪亮的星
Autumn Cicada – 秋蝉
To Love, To Heal – 我站在桥上看风景
New York – 在纽约
Our Glamorous Times – 你和我的倾城时光
The Story of Ming Lan – 知否知否应是绿肥红
New Horizon – 壮志高飞
Boy Hood 2 – 我们的少年时代2
Spy Hunter – 猎谍者
Precious – 乱花
Expected to air in the Youth on March time-slot (late evening, release on 3-5 days a week):

The list includes many newly announced dramas, I’ll try to post infos on them as soon as possible. (China, can’t you produce less dramas so that I can manage to catch up with them? Lol.)

where is a good place to see recaps of Chinese Dramas? Is there such a place?
Some blogs occasionally post recaps for hyped dramas, but I don’t know of any who regularly publish recaps. If you’re looking for recaps for a certain drama, just try searching for it. If you’re lucky, you’ll find something 🙂
what other Jin Doing dramas are out there? I love him – he’s awesome and that voice .. 🙂

Endless Love looks so good! I hope it will air soon.
I actually expect it to air really soon. An Yue Xi is currently hot thanks to her success with LET’s Shake it and Rakshasa Street, and Chinese TV stations always strike while the iron is hot (just like how recently several Jin Dong dramas were aired right after The First Half of My Life). Since Hunan TV hasn’t announced their lineup after Lightning yet, it might even air as early as late September. No guarantee though, this is only my assumption.
